Thus will I bless thee while I live I will lift up my hands in thy name. Psalm 63:4 KJV "Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and bless the Lord. Psalm l34:2 KJV

Why do I stand and praise The Lord?

"Then the Levites Stand up and bless the Lord your God for ever and ever and blessed be thy glorious name which is exalted above all blessing and praise." Nehemiah 9:5 KJV

Why do I say Amen?

"And Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God. And all the people answered Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the Lord with their faces to the ground." Nehemiah 8:6 KJV Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord." Psalm l06:48 KJV

Why do I sing chorus songs as well as hymns?

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord " Col. 3:16

         Why do I obtain  Preaching and Teaching?                                                                                                                                                 "So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading. Nehemiah 8:8 KJV "How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And How shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher Romans 10:14 KJV

Why do I have this type of worship?

"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth." John 4:23,24 KJV

Why does My Church and Denomination  church pray at once for specific needs?

"And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven and earth and the sea and all that in them is " Acts 4:24 KJV

Why does my Church and Denomination have speaking in tongues and interpretation of those tongues?

"Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues " I Corinthians 14:39 KJV "But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues." I Corinthians 12:7, 10 KJV

What is and Why do I beleive in prophecy?

"But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort." I Corinthians 14:3 KJV "For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may by comforted." I Corinthians 14:31 KJV "Follow after charity and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy." I Corinthians14:4 KJV

Why does my Church and Denomination anoint with oil and pray for the sick?  

"Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick and the Lord shall raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." James 5:14.15 KJV

Why does my Church and Denomination speak in tongues and in English?

"For if I pray in an unknown language, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. What is it then? I will pray with the Spirit and I will pray with the understanding also. I will sing with the Spirit and I will sing with the understanding also." I Corinthians 14:14,15 KJV
